1Are your assessments scientifically based?
Yes, our assessments have been developed by university professors at the world's top research universities such as Harvard Medical School based on the latest cognitive neuroscience data. They have been designed based on brain mapping and the functional organization of the brain. Each component of intelligence that our assessments measure is related to a specific brain area and uniquely predict success in professions that utilize that component of intelligence. Our assessments were validated on a sample of different professions through behavioral approaches, interviews with groups of experts, and neuroimaging methods. 2What is a psychometric assessment?
Psychometric assessments are assessments that evaluate measures such as intelligence, abilities, and personality. They are based on scientific research. When developing a psychometric assessments, psychologists have to first define what they will measure, which involves research. Then they will consider how to measure what they set out to measure. Next, they will design the assessment and test it on a large pool of people. From the data obtained, they assess and refine the assessment in order to make sure it is both reliable and valid.

4How long does it take to set-up an account with you?
Set-up is quick and easy. Simply contact us and we will provide you with advice on the different ready-to-use packages or offer customized solutions (e.g., company benchmarking, role analysis). In addition, our knowledgeable psychology and business staff will answer any questions you have.
5How long is each assessment?
Each assessment takes a different amount of time. In general, they take from 5 to 20 minutes to complete. If you plan to use various assessments in combination, you will have to add up the times separately. If you have specific time restrictions, let us know and we can help you.
6Do you offer other languages?
All of our assessments are available in English. If you require another language that is not noted, please contact us and we are happy to offer a translated version (fee depends on your subscription package). Please note that translation of VIAT Services copyrighted materials is strictly prohibited without prior written consent of VIAT Services.

11What formats can I use to administer the test?
Our tests are available in online on computer, tablet, or phone. Some of our assessments are also available in paper & pencil format Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need a certain format. Please note assessments for academic research is only available in computerized format (and some in paper & pencil).
12Are your materials protected by copyright and trademark laws?
Yes, all of the material on our website and also in our assessment and all of their components are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Purchasing our products implies your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
13What do reports look like?
We offer individual and group reports. Individual reports provide information on the individual's performance. Group reports provide comparative information among candidates. We can also customize a report for you, so please don't hesitate to let us know your needs.
14I already administer spatial tests, how are yours different?
Usually, spatial intelligence assessments measure the ability to manipulate spatial information. However, scientific breakthroughs revealed that further distinction can be made within spatial intelligence: allocentric ability and egocentric ability. Allocentric ability is the ability to mentally manipulate objects from a stationary point of view. Egocentric ability is the ability to imagine taking a different perspective in space. It has been shown that making the distinction between allocentric and egocentric abilities is important for different fields. Our spatial tests distinguish between allocentric ability SIA and egocentric ability SIE . In addition, our SIG I & II can distinguish between individuals with already high spatial ability, which is important for certain fields which require very high spatial ability.
